Taapsee Pannu says she feels like ‘an opinion is being forced upon’ in Sushant Singh Rajput case | Hindi Movie News

Taapsee Pannu recently took to Twitter to condemn the ‘alleged’ media trials of Rhea Chakraborty who is the prime accused in the Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. She had tweeted, “I didn’t know Sushant on a personal level nor do I know Rhea but what I know is, it only takes to be a human to understand how wrong it is to overtake judiciary to convict someone who isn’t proven guilty. Trust the law of the land for your sanity and the deceased’s sanctity.”

Now, during an interview with a publication, the actress has stated that she has come across headlines which are trying to make perception and sort of given verdict even though the court and the CBI are yet to give any decision on the case. Taapsee found the debates as some circus which is making the viewers feel delusional about the law of the land.

Taapsee further added that it is like an opinion is being forced on to everyone due to the media trials.

Meanwhile, a few days back, the Press Council of India took a strong objection to the coverage of the SSR case by many media outlets. It said the media should adhere to the norms of journalistic conduct in covering cases under investigation and is advised not to carry out its own “parallel trial”.
