Raveena Tandon has welcomed a ‘clean up’ in her latest social media post, which comes at a point when the Narcotics Control Bureau is actively probing a drug nexus in Bollywood. Urging that the dealers and suppliers must be punished, Raveena tweeted, “It was high time for clean up to happen. Very welcome! Will help our young/future generations. Start from here, surely, proceed to all sectors. Uproot it from its core. Punish the Guilty, users, the dealers/suppliers. The profiting Big Guys on the take, who give it a blind eye and ruin people.”

Previously, the NCB had arrested Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik in the case. Rhea’s 14-day judicial custody ends today.

The ongoing probe revealed that several other actors are also under the scanner. According to Times Now several celebrities were mentioned in “drug chats” that are under the NCB’s scrutiny, the initials of five celebrities, namely – K, D, S, N, and J have been revealed. The report further stated that ‘D’ has been allegedly identified as Deepika Padukone while ‘K’ is Karishma Prakash, her manager. According to PTI, the Narcotics Control Bureau has summoned Deepika Padukone’s manager Karishma Prakash and a talent management agency’s CEO Dhurv Chitgopekar in connection with its probe. Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor’s names had also emerged during the probe and reports suggest that they will also be summoned by the NCB.
