Fans went in a tizzy after reports of ace singer Lucky Ali passing away started doing the rounds on social media on Tuesday evening. While many started expressing their condolences, others branded it as fake news. ETimes got in touch with his actress-friend Nafisa Ali who confirmed that there was no truth to the claims and that the singer was doing absolutely fine.

“I chatted with Lucky Ali 2-3 times today. He is fine. He does not have COVID. In fact, he has antibodies. He is busy planning his music and concerts. We were talking about virtual concerts happening and all such things. He is on his farm in Bengaluru and his family is there with him. I just spoke to him, everybody is fine,” Nafisa informed.

Lucky Ali might be away from the limelight but his music videos keep surfacing on the internet every now and then. Fans still go gaga over his soulful voice and his songs are still evergreen in the minds of his followers.
