Lata Mangeshkar thanks Maharashtra CM and his ministers for announcing ‘Master Dinanath Mangeshkar Government Music College’ on her 91st birthday | Hindi Movie News

On the occasion of legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar‘s 91st birthday, Maharashtra Higher and Technical Education Minister Uday Samant announced that the state government is planning to set up a music college with international standards. He added that the college will be named after Pandit Dinanath Mangeshkar.

Now, the nightingale of India took to Twitter to thank the Maha Govt for the special birthday gift. She wrote a long post and expressed her gratitude towards CM Uddhav Thackery, his ministers for the same. Pandit Dinanath Mangeshkar was the father of well-known singers Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Meena Khadikar, Usha Mangeshkar and Hridaynath Mangeshkar.

Meanwhile, minister Uday Samant had tweeted on Monday, “Under the leadership of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and the initiative of Aditya Thackeray, my department will establish an international standard Master Dinanath Mangeshkar Government Music College on the occasion of the birthday of Empress Lata Didi.”
