Kangana Ranaut takes an indirect dig at Taapsee Pannu: Patriarchy Gang will come in support of sexual predator #AnuragKashyap | Hindi Movie News

Kangana Ranaut has taken an indirect dig at Taapsee Pannu, who recently penned a positive note for filmmaker Anurag Kashayap, who is facing sexual harassment allegations. Taking a dig at Taapsee for defending Anurag and not speaking up after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, Kangana posted on Twitter, “Now Liberals & Patriarchy Gang Will come In Support of sexual predator Charsi #AnuragKashyap but When someone from their fraternity had been dead under mysterious circumstances & his fans and family are seeking justice, Not Even a Single Raised Their Voice.” Campaigning justice for Sushant Singh Rajput, Kangana further urged her followers, “I need maximum tweets on this tag. ROAR IT LOUD and CLEAR. “JUSTICE NEEDS TO BE SERVED” . #SSRDishaHomicide.”

On Saturday night, actress Payal Ghosh accused Anurag of sexual harassment and the filmmaker tagged the allegations as baseless. And Taapsee had shared, “For you, my friend, are the biggest feminist I know. See you on the sets soon of yet another piece of art that shows how powerful and significant women are in the world you create.”

Narrating the incident, Payal had told ETimes in an interview, “The first time I met him was at his office in Aram Nagar, Versova. The second time I met him was at his residence. We spoke in general about films and the film industry. Then he called me again to his house and this time, that is on the third occasion, he tried to force himself upon me. I did not raise an alarm but pleaded with him that he should let me go as I would return again some other time.” National Commission for Women chairperson Rekha Sharma has asked Payal to submit a detailed complaint.
