In some of the biggest headlines in Bollywood this Monday, the Mumbai Police finally broke their silence on the Sushant Singh Rajput case and revealed some details of the investigation, while on the other side of town, Bollywood stars got together to celebrate the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.

Weeks after commencing the Sushant Singh Rajput case, the Mumbai Police broke finally their silence! In an interaction with the media, the Mumbai Police Commissioner, Param Bir Singh set the record straight and denied any party on the night before the actor’s death, apart from dismissing claims of an illegal transfer of funds to Rhea Chakraborty’s account, and also assured “no one” was spared in the interrogation.

The police also made a revelation that Sushant google searched for a ‘painless death’ before his suicide and that Disha Salian’s name was also among the other things he searched for. Interestingly, the cops claim that a message retrieved from Sushant’s phone was one to his lawyer, asking “Who is Disha Salian, please find out.’

On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Bollywood celebs were caught in a cheery mood on social media as they sent out notes of love to celebrate their bond with their beloved brothers. Fans of Big B could finally breathe a sigh of relief as the megastar returned home after testing negative for COVID-19. Amitabh made the happy announcement on his social media handle while also extending his gratitude and thanks to all those who prayed for his recovery. While Bachchan Sr is all set to spend the next few days quarantining in the comfort of his own room, Bachchan Jr, “due to some comorbidities,” is still Covid-19 positive and will remain in hospital.
