Megastar Rajinikanth announced that he won’t be entering politics, owing to health reasons. Elder brother RS Rao backed the actor’s decision and said, “We too believed that he would launch the party. He has cited health reasons. So, we can’t force him.” Although Rajini has backed out of a political career, he has pledged his continued support to the people.
At a time when everyone seems to be heading out of B-town, Kangana Ranaut announced her arrival in the bay. All decked up in her traditional best, our cameras caught the actress with a big smile as she made a quick visit to the Siddhivinayak temple in Prabhadevi. Tweeting about her big visit, she said, “today I went to Mumba Devi and Shri Siddhivinayak ji and got their blessings, I feel protected, loved and welcomed. Jai Hind Jai Maharashtra.”
We spotted Alia Bhatt joining Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu ji and family as they caught their chartered flight out of the city. Buzz is that the cutesy couple will ring in the New Year together with their family far away from the bustle of B-town.
As they got ready to jet out of the city, Neetu posted a bitter-sweet goodbye to 2020 as she remembered the loss of her husband Rishi Kapoor while also sending out a note of love to her kids Ranbir and Riddhima.
Meanwhile, other b-town couples like Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani seemed to have already kicked off their New Year count down by heading out on exotic beach getaways. The star-couples have been scorching up our timelines with their oh! So gorgeous pics basking in the winter sun and frolicking in the sand.
And finally, time for some filmi news. We got word that Kareena Kapoor Khan is going to be one busy mommy, come 2021. Rumour has it that the actress who is currently 7 months pregnant with baby number 2, has about 6 scripts waiting for her nod. After taking a quick maternity break, she will be back in action on the film sets.
Aamir Khan, on the other hand, may just head off to Dubai after his little getaway to complete work on his next. Our bees tell us that as Mr Perfectionist didn’t get the go-ahead to shoot a portion of the film in Leh-Ladakh, so the team decided to shift base to Dubai where the mountainous region was recreated.
