Eminem apologizes to Rihanna in his latest song for siding with Chris Brown who assaulted her; says “I’m sorry, Ri” | English Movie News

Rapper and record producer Marshall Mathers, professionally known as Eminem has once again given a holiday season surprise to his fans by dropping a new album on Thursday. The ‘Beautiful’ singer once again surprise-dropped the followup album to his last year’s album ‘Music To Be Murdered By’, which was his 11th
studio album. The new album titled ‘Music to Be Murdered By – Side B’ features collaborations with artists like Dr. Dre, DJ Premier, Skylar Gray, and Ty Dolla $ign.

In the song ‘Zeus’, the rapper wholeheartedly apologised Rihanna for siding with Chris Brown who assaulted the ‘Umbrella’ singer in 2009. Last year, lyrics of Eminem’s unreleased song was leaked which read, “Of course I side with Chris Brown / I’d beat a bitch down too,” referring to Brown’s assault episode when he was dating Rihanna.

Now, the lyrics of the ‘Zeus’ read:
‘But, me, long as I breathe, promise to be honest

And wholeheartedly, apologies, Rihanna

For that song that leaked, I’m sorry, Ri

It wasn’t meant to cause you grief

Regardless, it was wrong of me.’

Eminem’s team had clarified that the song was 10 years old and it was recorded for his 2009 album ‘Marshall Mathers’, however, the song was never released for a reason.

‘Side B’ has arrived eleven months after Eminem’s surprise-release ‘Music To Be Murdered By’, which had followed up his 2018’s surprise release album ‘Kamikaze’.
